SYNOPSIS

MEMORABÍLIA is a community-based, participatory art project that explores the symbolic potential of everyday objects as vehicles for individual and collective memory. Mass-produced utilitarian objects serve as starting points for reflecting on cultural, social and economic transformations, acquiring new meanings through the performative experience.

Building on the premise of the original performance, MEMORABÍLIA proposes the creation of a site-specific narrative rooted in the local area. The project unfolds through a collaborative process with the local community over a period of around three weeks, involving the collection of objects, the sharing of stories, performative practices and artistic experimentation.
