Exhibition by Luísa Serôdio opens the 16th International Puppet Festival in Montemor-o-Novo

We inaugurated Luísa Serôdio’s exhibition ‘Há Festa na Cidade!’ (There’s a Party in Town!) and officially opened the doors to our 16th International Puppet Festival in Montemor-o-Novo.

The evening, which was expected to be cold, turned out to be warm, in the company of so many friends and our beloved audience.

“From the depths of drawers, cupboards, workshops, barns, fields and oceans, things jump out, loose pieces, forgotten spoils, extraordinary pieces. Look and see lost objects in a different way. And love their different lives, uses and places, animating them, like objects that attract each other. This is the setting from which these beings emerge, laying their hands on everything in an urgent need to humanise themselves. Happy to finally be able to exist. Luísa Serôdio simply welcomes them. There’s a party in town!”
